Job description

We are looking for an organized Project Manager to support our teams in the day-to-day management of projects and in the company’s growth.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage marine civil engineering projects from award/planning through to completion.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and costs (labor, equipment, subcontractors, materials).
  • Plan construction activities: methods, sequencing, access constraints, site logistics, mobilization and demobilization.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, professionals, project owners, port authorities, and stakeholders.
  • Manage change orders, claims, and contractual follow-ups (notices, documentation, negotiation).
  • Produce and maintain documentation: schedules, reports, site meeting minutes, deliverables tracking.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement (standardizing tools, lessons learned, method optimization).

Profile Sought

  • 5+ years of experience in project management.
  • Degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong financial management skills (budgets, costs, forecasts, margins).
  • Comfortable with contracts, change management, and client communication.
  • Proficiency with standard tools (Excel, MS Project or equivalent).

Assets (if applicable)

  • Specific experience in port works, sheet piling, riprap, cofferdams, dredging, aquatic work, excavation.
  • Knowledge of environmental requirements and permits related to shoreline/coastal work.

Conditions and Benefits

  • Salary: Based on experience, between $80,000 and $130,000 per year.
  • Position Type: Hybrid schedule, office located in Brossard (near the REM).
